5) Refine the itinerary, confirm accommodation and provide final costing - us
6) Book flights - you
7) Take out travel insurance - you
8) Pay balance 90 days prior to departure - you
9) Prepare detailed itinerary and send out about 30 days prior to departure - us

Our premium service is included in your tour price. We get the best prices we can for you, with the final cost probably being similar to what you would pay if you did everything yourself. As a rough guide, our 3.5 star itineraries average approximately $260 per person per day on a twin share basis. So you can expect two weeks in Japan to come to around $3640 per person for two (land only: accommodation, transport, all breakfast, some dinners). This will vary though according to the accommodation that you settle upon. For instance, numerous onsen ryokan stays will eat up lots of yen (but worth it occasionally).
